Overview

On the 17th of April, Studio Eight was the vibrant setting for an event orchestrated by the Community Group Marvila Antiga, of which the SOMAR project is an integral part. This special occasion, known as the Beauty Day, was designed to provide care and attention to the elderly residents of the community, many of whom grapple with social isolation.

Approximately 40 individuals, including both participants and volunteers, gathered to partake in the day's festivities. Services such as manicures, hairstyling, barbering, and makeup applications were offered, accompanied by refreshments for those awaiting their turn.
