Overview

On the 6th of November 2023, a remarkable DJ workshop took place in the heart of Marvila, Lisbon, with the aim of introducing the art of DJing to the local youth. The workshop was led by DJ Slick, a well-known figure among the young residents of the area. Six enthusiastic participants, aged between 13 and 20, gathered to delve into the world of DJing under the expert guidance of DJ Slick. The event also had the support of Nuno Varela, a musical producer actively involved in Marvila, particularly in cultural and educational initiatives for the Chelas neighborhood, with his project “Kriativu.”

This activity lasted for three engaging hours, filled with fun and relaxation. Special lighting effects and a smoke machine added a touch of excitement to the atmosphere, making the experience all the more memorable.
